Poppadums Restaurant in Male' have been delivering food to all our customers ever since we started the business. Of late, we have been receiving a lot of calls for home delivery. 

The most common item we deliver these days from POPPADUMS is the Special Chicken Combo Meal from  for JUST MVR 69. It contains Naan, Veg Rice, Chicken Kadai, Aloo (potato) with Green Peas, cut vegetable pieces, pappad, and Gulab Jamun. It comes in a nice and neatly packed combo container.

Acha's Poppadums introduces its special Roadha Menu for 2017

Acha's Poppadums has introduced a special Roadha Menu for its customers for MVR 199 ONLY. The 2017 Special Iftar menu consists of a different Menu on each week day. The Price however remains the same for all the days. Each package consists of Chicken, Fish, Beef, and Vegetarian items along with Salad and bread (Roshi/Naan) and desserts. In addition to this each package consists of snacks and at least 2 fresh juices.

 As a special offer, one iftar package is offered FREE for every 10 confirmed bookings. Bookings are available from 10.30 am in the morning on each week day. Interested parties may call 3000991 or 9757427 or 9774481 to make their bookings.

Acha's Poppadums will host COUPLES DELIGHT - a special romantic theme dinner on tuesday, the 14th February, 2017. The buffet will be available for MVR 111 (including GST) and will be open to all. Being a romantic dinner night meant for couples, we have decided to honour the first 15 customers with a red rose which they can gift to their partner. We will have an ambiance that carries love songs in hindi, english, and dhivehi. All the customers will get some form of gift in the form of discounts and special offers on that day. The menu will consist of Indian, Chinese and Pasta items to cater to a diverse customer base.

Wraps N Rolls...from Acha's Poppadums

Acha's Poppadums to introduce its signature "Dinka Tikka Wraps"

Acha's Poppadums will shortly introduce 5 different types of wraps. The wraps will be introduced as short meals for its valued customers who prefer a quick bite. The wraps will come in five variants namely - Chicken, Beef, Fish, Vegetable, and Paneer.

The "Dinka Tikka Wraps" will be sold at a very reasonable price to cater to as many customers as possible. We are currently doing a market testing of our wraps with a select group of our customers. Based on their feedback, we will proceed with the pricing and launch of the wraps.

Based on the initial feedback, we strongly believe that the most preferred wrap will be the tandoori chicken wrap. A wrap with a drink would be a filling meal for a person, be it breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The wrap is also relatively healthy because it contains less or no oil, more of leafy veggies and bread.

The wraps will be initially available mostly for takeaway and will be very convenient and easy for people on the move. Based on the demand, we may start delivering the wraps to our customers' doorstep also.

We expect to serve our customers better with more of such products so as to provide a greater variety of cuisines. It is our humble desire that we increase our customer base by another 5 - 10%. with the introduction of the "Dinka Tikka Wraps". During the month of November, Acha's Poppadums had organized a "Biriyani Fest", followed by a " Tibetan Food Fest" at its outlet in Meheli Goalhi." Poppadums and Acha's together offer a vibrant menu for Ramadan

 Poppadums and Acha's Poppadums Ramadan Break Fast Menu is out.  This is the first time we are having a combined menu for both Poppadums and Acha's Poppadums. Even though the food served at both the places is almost the same, we have managed to promote the outlets differently due to their innate differences in ambience, location and space availability. For the first time ever we have managed to increase our capacity to accommodate even as much as 100 people at one go.

This time the Menu has 4 variants and would include traditional Maldivian delicacies also. A press release from the management said, " We had always maintained a typical Indian food Menu for all the fast breaking sessions during the last 3 years since our inception; last year too we received a lot of requests from our clientele requesting us to add at least a few Maldivian dishes in our Roadha Menu. We thought it most appropriate as well and hence we made it a point that this year ( 2012) we will certainly diversify our menu to include a few Maldivian cuisines to delight our most valued customers. Indian Food, the Indian Way

Whoever has started this nice little joint called POPPADUMS in Male' has done it well. And whoever said that restaurants have to be mighty big in size has been proven completely wrong by the Poppadums guys. This nice little joint located on Ameer Ahmed Magu in Male', just opposite the office gate of Majeediyya School has a purely welcoming interior, quite simple, yet has something inviting in it.

They serve Indian food at its best, i would say much better than the so called indian restaurants in Male' which claim to serve authentic Indian cuisine. Starting from the chinese fried rice to a range of North Indian tandoor dishes, poppadums has it all in its truly mouth-watering form. Open from 12 noon till 1 in the morning, poppadums serves mostly the maldivian clientele. Since the place has limited seats ( a maximum of 36) it becomes important to call up and book a table in advance if you are in the real mood to munch some truly indian stuff.

Unlike other joints, Poppadums has mostly indian staff and i believe it is run by a group of indian guys who have a history of running indian restaurants in the country since the early 90's, no wonder they have done a wonderful job so far.

One could call their delivery service at 3307858 and request for food at their doorstep also. i am told that they are very soon going to start selling indian antiques and indian snacks such as chips to add true indian colour to their existing profile. The bottomline however is to make every customer feel delighted upon visiting Poppadums.
